Step 6 September 2023: Autumn is sowing time

We hoped it would rain, but the storm passed us by and we didn't get a drop. Over the upcoming months we will regularly sow different green manure seeds. Soaked, but also in seed balls. With their deep root systems these plants crack open the soil and help to slowly awaken it. In spring it will be cut as a straw and hay layer and become a ground cover to form a new layer of topsoil. #naturalfarming #Fukuoka #greenmanure
