The next step in the rebuild was building all the inner walls on the upper floor. We also had to insulate all the outer walls. And then… a creative impulse arose, which resulted in a glass-bottle tree built into the wall. This is the work we completed up until March. Yay, the start of our first vegetable garden on the land, of course, natural farming style. We know the drill now. First, we’ll add manure, bucket by bucket. And then we lay down the straw, one bale at a time. Since we love circles so much, we’re making them again, like in the previous vegetable garden. Thanks to your latest donations, we are able to plant 100 trees on the new land! Almonds, pistachios, cherries, apples, pears, and nectarines for now — with lots more variety to come. We are so happy that, slowly, these 4.5 hectares are becoming green again. The land is happy, and so are we! 🥳🤩🥳

We finally managed to finish last summer’s update video! It was a season full of harvesting and processing fresh food straight from the garden — drying fruits and veggies, making juices to enjoy all year round, cooking up lots of marmalades, and even trying a little fermentation experiment.
