The first seeds are going in the soil!
This week we sowed our first tomatoes and peppers in compost from our worm farm! It feels great to feel the earth after a winter break and put seeds in the soil again. We are so happy with the varieties we were gifted from Italy, Denmark & Spain and of course, the pride of our village: the locally grown tomatoes. (Red, pink, green, black and yellow)
We have put 150 tomato and pepper seeds in the soil. Within 2 weeks, we will pre-sow many more.
Until mid-April, there is still a chance of frost at night. Should it still get cold, we will put the plants indoors at night.
