The first 3 years we need a lot of green manure seeds and we are still planting in the food forest. Surplus harvest will go to people in need within our local environment to cover everyone's basic needs.

We have been making a lot of seed balls by hand and were able to use the mixer of the town hall last autumn. Unfortunately we can't remove the scoops in this mixer, so we want one for our local community. These seed balls will be used to re-green several hectares within our community and to reforest an area here in the mountains in collaboration with the environmental agents. The rest of the amount will be paid by our neighbors.

To clean up and transform the vegetable gardens into natural farming gardens and establish more projects, we miss following important tools. 

- A good chainsaw: 600€

- A good brushcutter (metal blade): 1000€

Preferably we buy tools with electric batteries, which we can charge with our solar panels.

Through local friends we will be able to buy these materials with a 30% reduction.

Up until now we have been doing everything with our 11 year old car. Unfortunately this car is a bit too small if we want to do more and upgrade the project. We would like a van, and/or a trailer so we can transport manure, large quantities of seedballs, a cement mixer, lots of plants we will be growing and deliver food to the people around us. We also want support local produce and sell these articles in Belgium / The Netherlands when we drive there in summer. We are very happy with good 2nd hand material, as long as it is still in good condition so we don't have to invest in the upcoming years. 

Our house is very small and we need a storage place to shelter a local seed bank, store our garden working materials, and dry almonds and walnuts. This storage will function as a storage, small local shop and pre-growing area with big second hand windows on the south.

The plan is to build it with the help of our neighbor, and being able to pay him for his working hours.

As soon as we have legal confirmation, we can dig a well. We are almost waiting one year now for the confirmation and expect soon to have more info.

This well will transform a dry piece of land into an example natural farm. In a land on the verge of desertification, with monoculture as the main cultivation method, we need living examples of other possibilities. 

The spring downstairs our little hub is broken and the water for all the vegetable gardens is lost. This is super important for this hamlet, as it is the only place with legal irrigation right, in this very dry climate. To fix this, a machine needs to open up the street and they have to put new pipes. This one time investment will provide a lot of food for a lot of people the upcoming years. Depending on the work the amount to be paid to the construction company will be in between 600€ - 3000€. We only know the exact amount when they open the street and see what needs to be done.
